WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?
The 10th annual Cooper-Young Beerfest is Saturday, Oct. 19, from 1-5 p.m.
WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?
Midtown Autowerks is hosting us again at 795 S. Cooper, just south of the intersection of Central and Cooper.
HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS?
Tickets go on sale Sept. 1 and are $45 in September and $50 in October. Tickets for current CYCA members are $40 until we sell out. Please email the CYCA or contact us for the discount code after Sept. 1.
WHAT DOES THE TICKET INCLUDE?
A 2019 Beerfest mug, unlimited samples of beer from 1-5 p.m., and a great time. We'll have Goner Records supplying tunes, and food will be available for purchase from local food trucks.
IS THERE A RAIN DATE?
No, this event will take place rain or shine.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
This is a 21+ event. EVERYONE, including designated drivers, must be 21 or over AND have a valid photo ID to enter the festival - no exceptions.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
No. This is an adult event, and everyone must be 21+ to enter.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No. Please leave your pets at home.
IS THERE ANYTHING TO DRINK OTHER THAN BEER?
We often have a cidery or two, in addition to all of the craft breweries. We will provide free tap water at multiple stations. Soft drinks and bottled water will be available for sale from vendors.
CAN DESIGNATED DRIVERS ENTER THE FESTIVAL?
Yes. Designated drivers will be allowed in for free at the gate. However, designated drivers must be 21 or over AND have a valid photo ID to enter the festival - no exceptions.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We strongly encourage you to take a taxi, Uber or Lyft. We do not have dedicated parking for this event. Please use street parking in the surrounding blocks, but be considerate of our neighbors and local businesses. Please don’t block driveways, park illegally or park in business lots.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
We will have food vendors on site selling food. Although the vendors will probably accept credit cards, bring cash to be safe.
CAN I BRING IN OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK?
IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED?
WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE AT THE FRONT GATE?
It is highly unlikely that tickets will be available at the front gate. This event sells out in advance every year.
DO YOU NEED ANY HELP? CAN I VOLUNTEER?
This entire event is organized and produced by volunteers. We love great volunteers who are passionate about beer and community. Please send us an email if you would like to volunteer.
CAN I BE A VENDOR AT THE FESTIVAL?
The only space we have available for vendors are for food vendors. If you are interested in being a food vendor, please send us an email with information on your offerings. We do not accept any sort of other vendor at all, both because the space is small and in order to focus on the beer.
