WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?
The 16th annual Cooper-Young Beerfest will be from 1:00-5:00 on October 17, 2026

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?
The festival will be in Midtown, and we will be announcing a new site soon.

HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS?
$40 in September (~$45 with fees)
$45 in October (~$50 with fees)

WHAT DOES THE TICKET INCLUDE?
All tickets come with a 2026 Beerfest mug with unlimited samples of beer from 1-5 pm and a great time.
We'll have Goner Records supplying tunes, and food will be available for purchase from local food trucks.

WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE FRONT GATE?

WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED BY THIS FESTIVAL GO?
All profits from Beerfest go to the Cooper-Young Community Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to make the CY community a more desirable and safer place to live, worship, work, and play. Everything from organizing to producing the festival is done by volunteers.

IS THERE A RAIN DATE?
No, this event will take place rain or shine.

CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY TICKET?
No. Would you ask Ticketmaster for a refund?

WHO CAN ATTEND?
This is a 21+ event. EVERYONE, including designated drivers, must be 21 or over AND have a valid photo ID to enter the festival - no exceptions.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Only if they are 21+. This is an adult event, and everyone must be 21+ to enter.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No. Please leave your pets at home.

CAN I BRING A CHAIR?
Yes, feel free to bring a chair if you’d like to.

IS THERE ANYTHING TO DRINK OTHER THAN BEER?
We often have a cider or two and some seltzers in addition to all of the craft breweries. We will provide free tap water at multiple stations. Soft drinks and bottled water will be available for sale from vendors.

CAN DESIGNATED DRIVERS ENTER THE FESTIVAL?
Yes. Designated drivers will be allowed in for free at the gate. However, designated drivers must be 21 or over AND have a valid photo ID to enter the festival - no exceptions.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We strongly encourage you to take a taxi, Uber or Lyft. We do not have dedicated parking for this event. If you drive, please use street parking in the surrounding blocks, but be considerate of our neighbors and local businesses. Please don’t block driveways, park illegally or park in business lots.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?
We will have several vendors on site selling food. Although the vendors will probably accept credit cards, bring cash to be safe.

CAN I BRING IN OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK?
Nothing other than water and pretzel necklaces

IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED?
No.

DO YOU NEED ANY HELP? CAN I VOLUNTEER?
This entire event is organized and produced by volunteers. We love great volunteers who are passionate about beer and community. Please see our Volunteer page for more information.

CAN I BE A VENDOR AT THE FESTIVAL?
The only space we have available for vendors are for food vendors, and those spots have been filled. We do not accept any sort of other vendor at all, both because the space is small and to focus on the beer.
